SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Bennett County girls and Colman-Egan boys track and field programs had each been waiting for more than a quarter of a century to win another state championship.

That ended after the final day of competition at the 2025 SDHSAA State B Track & Field Meet on Saturday.

Led by sisters Reagan and Peysen O’Neill the Warrior girls won their first team title since 1986 (their first in Class B since the Warriors were in Class A at that time) while strong performances in the relays and in the sprints from Christopher Lee led the Hawks’ boys to their first crown since 1999.
