To midcentury modern fans, art glass is one of those must-have categories that provide form and color to any decor. When those giant vases and brandy snifters are backlit against a window, it’s like having a stained glass panel that you can change around at will.

And while most MCM designers go for the big knock-out pieces, there is another type of colorful glass that has both history and character on its side: miniature apothecary bottles. Less delicate than perfume bottles, they are similarly sized and come in a rainbow of colors. Let’s look at those today.
