FLORENCE — Wyatt Sharp went 4-for-4 from the plate, driving in one run and crossing the plate twice to help the Kalispell A Lakers to a 5-3 win over the Bitterroot Bucs in game two of a doubleheader and securing a split on the day.
In the opener, the Bucs rallied from 5-1 down in the second inning to down the Lakers 12-7.
Tait Orme hit an RBI double in the second inning that extended the lead to 3-1, Miles Arrowsmith followed with two-run single to left.
After Bitterroot cut the deficit to 5-3, Orme singled to left bringing in two runs and putting Kalispell in front 7-3.
After that it was all Bucs as Caleb Katen tripled in the fifth to tie the game at seven, Jordan Vigil then gave Bitterroot its first lead of the day with a sacrifice fly, scoring Katen.
