COLUMBUS, Ind. – Black History Columbus (BHC) has announced its 2025 Community Juneteenth Calendar. Nine featured events have been prepared across the city for a month-long celebration of the 160th anniversary of the emancipation of all slaves in the United States.
These events represent the power of collaboration and the beauty of community engagement, and Black History Columbus invites individuals, families, and organizations to take part in this celebration.
“We always aim to promote community, culture, and collaboration,” said BCH organizers. “We’re excited to continue the momentum from Black History Month and invite the community to join us in honoring Juneteenth.” Toyota and the African American Foundation are sponsoring this year’s calendar.
