CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) - Two separate car pursuits ended in the arrest of three suspects and the detention of two other individuals.

On May 31, at 10:30 p.m., the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office and Plain Dealing Police Department attempted to stop a stolen Chrysler 300 on LA Highway 2, near Centerville Road, but the driver allegedly refused to pull over. The pursuit reached the city limits of Vivian, Louisiana, where the Vivian Police Department joined the chase.

Authorities continued the chase until the driver, a 17-year-old male, reportedly jumped out of the car. Vivian Police officers were able to use a taser on Bush and caught him. A handgun, ammunition, and a THC vape pen were reportedly discovered on his person.
