LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Humidity is about to return to SWLA this week and eventually slightly higher rain chances.
The break from the humidity is just about over as southerly winds will return. Despite this, models indicate we may not see much in the way of rain through Tuesday. With an increase in mugginess, a couple pop-up showers or a stray storm can’t be ruled out, but rain chances will stay around 10% for now.
This means temps will get plenty warm, and highs should reach the upper 80’s to near 90 away from the coast.
By Wednesday, models indicate greater moisture may return and that’s when we may be back to a more typical pattern of a few showers and storms around daily. Not everyone will see rain each day but stay on the lookout for a couple showers or storms. Rain chances may
