PAGELAND, S.C. (WBTV) - A 7-year-old girl was shot during a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in Pageland, according to the Pageland Police Department.

Pageland police said the shooting happened around 1:17 a.m. on Brewer Circle.

When officers arrived, police said they found the girl with a gunshot wound. She was airlited to the hospital.

As of Sunday afternoon, police said the girl who was shot is in critical condition. No suspects are in custody.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) was called in to investigate the shooting.

Investigators are asking anyone who lives near North Elm Street, Joseph Street, or Brewer Circle that has cameras to let police know if they capture the road.
