SUNDOWN, Texas (KCBD) - The 2AD2 Softball State Champion Sundown Roughettes are the Extra Innings Team of the Week.

They defeated reigning 2A State Champions Shiner, 9-3 on Thursday to win the title for the first time in school history.

The Roughettes finish the season 33-6 and will return all but three seniors in their title defense in 2026.
