Concord Christian’s honorees reflect ‘Portrait of an Athlete’

This year’s Lion Award at Concord Christian School was presented to Christopher Rector and Esther Pattison as they both best exemplified the athletic department’s “Portrait of an Athlete” during their time at CCS.

The characteristics of a Portrait of an Athlete consist of commitment, discipline, enthusiasm, humility, integrity, perseverance, respect, service, and teamwork. Concord Athletics believes these characteristics are universal for success and rooted in biblical truth.

Pattison played four years of golf and three years of basketball at Concord Christian and is attending Watkins College of Art at Belmont University to study Graphic Design. She also was a member of the Student Government Association, S
