SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A year ago Brandon Valley’s Landon Dulaney was mostly sitting out the final day of the State Track and Field meet after hurting his hamstring in the prelims of the 200 meter run.
This year he closed out his prep career breaking the record of a former NFL player in that event.
In his return to the State Meet Landon was back to old form, helping the Lynx win the sprint medley in a meet record time on Thursday before winning the all class gold medal in the 100 Meter Dash in 10.62 seconds yesterday
His crowning achievement was in the 200 Meter Run which Landon ran in 21.36 seconds, 0.34 seconds below former Washington Warrior and eventual NFL linebacker Nate Gerry’s 2013 meet record.
Like Gerry this was Dulaney’s final track meet since he’ll move on to
