Three men were killed and eight others were injured about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in an explosion in a Northern States Power Co. building near 12th street and 1st avenue north in Fargo.

The dead are:

Samuel G. Rott, 54, of 531 21st St. N., Fargo.

August Neyssen, 50, Hatton, N.D.

Robert LaPash, 36, of 116 15th St. S., Moorhead, who died five hours after the blast.

Some of the injured were in serious condition last night.
