(NEXSTAR) — A fourth wave of Big Lots stores will reopen this week, bringing back nearly 80 locations in nine states that were previously shuttered as part of the retailer's bankruptcy filing, including seven stores in Northeast Ohio.

These stores, like the more than 100 others that have already reopened this year, are under new management. As part of a deal reached by Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, Variety Wholesalers acquired some former Big Lots stores that are reopening with the original branding.

Initially, nine Big Lots stores reopened in April. Two additional waves in May added dozens of more stores to the Big Lots footprint.
