KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- An investigation has begun after Kansas City, Kansas police shot at a suspect early Monday morning.
KCKPD said officers responded to a domestic disturbance around 3:30 Monday morning on North 78th Street. According to KCKPD, when officers were at the scene, they were involved in a shooting with a male suspect.
The department did not release any details about the shooting.
KCKPD said the suspect was taken to a hospital where he is recovering from the shooting, and no officers were injured in the shooting.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) will conduct the investigation.
