In news you already knew was coming but is now official: Jonathan Anderson is the sole creative director of both menswear and womenswear at Dior, marking the first time a designer will helm both lines, along with the haute couture collections, since Christian Dior himself.

In April, Anderson left Loewe to lead Dior’s men’s collection to copious fanfare. Then last week, after much speculation, the fashion house announced the inevitable departure of its women’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri , opening the slot up for Anderson’s immediate succession.
