CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - A suspect in an attempted murder from California has been arrested in Carson City.

At around 10:00 a.m. on Friday, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office received information that an attempted murder suspect from Hughson, California was possibly in Carson City.

Police say the suspect, Troy Wayne McComak, was reported to have been involved in a domestic violence incident involving a firearm in the small central California town on May 28.

McComak is accused of fleeing the scene of that crime and was reported to be armed and wearing body armor. His car was identified as a 2009 Saturn sedan with California license plates.

Police say he was believed to have fled to Carson City, and that he had stated would fight and kill law enforcement.
