CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum (PPHM) is offering two educational summer camps for kids designed to ignite curiosity and spark imagination.
The museum says this year’s camps offer a unique, hands-on experience tied to the rich history and scientific wonders of the Texas Panhandle.
Boulders, Brands, and Bones Camp (2nd to 5th Grade)
June 24-27
Campers will use their hands as much as their brains as they dive into the worlds of history, art, geology and the Wild West.
Special guests from the Discovery Center, Wild Hanbury’s and Dove Creek Equine Rescue will bring the learning to life through up-close animal encounters, scientific discoveries and cowboy culture in action.
Cost is $75 for PPHM members and $95 for PPHM nonmembers.
