RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is joining a statewide effort cracking down on drunk drivers.
From June 5 to June 23, the WCSO, in collaboration with law enforcement partners across the state, will increase patrols focused on impaired driving enforcement.
They say that you should use public transportation or ride-share services, designate a driver, and report suspected impaired drivers to police.
The WCSO says they also made 34 DUI arrests in the month of May, ranging from first-time offenders to those facing their third DUI charges, to those who caused accidents.
