WHITE DEER, Texas (KFDA) - Ruben visits a local greenhouse in White Deer that has been serving the community for 25 years.

Jinna Daniels, owner of Gypsies, Tramps and Leaves, says it opened in 2000.

“It was a dream that I had because I used to work for another greenhouse here that moved to Amarillo and was no longer here,” said Daniels. “It’s just continued to grow stronger and stronger every year.”

Daniels says she thinks part of their success comes from word of mouth and highway traffic.

“I think it’s good because our tax revenue goes back into our school system, which we strongly need so that we don’t have to consolidate,” said Daniels.
