OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — An Oregon, Illinois, man was arrested at the same location twice in one month, first for unlawful use of a weapon and later for battery and methamphetamine possession.
Police first arrested Colton Carter, 28, after a "disturbance" in the 5th Street Municipal Parking Lot, in the 100 block of N. 5th Street, around 11:57 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6th.
Authorities said Carter was charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
Then, on Saturday, May 14th, Carter was again arrested at the same location after police responded to another disturbing call.
This time, Carter was charged with battery, driving on a suspended license, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Ogle County Jail.
