FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Two teenagers accused in the shooting and killing of a man on Wells Street last week told police they acted in self-defense, according to Allen Superior Court documents released Monday.
The teenagers, 18-year-old Jayden Cosme and 19-year-old Jaylen Murray, face murder charges over a man's death that was ruled a homicide. According to the probable cause affidavit filed Monday, investigators believe the two "knowingly and intentionally act in concert," despite their claim of self-defense.
Early Friday morning, police found a man dead inside his home in the 2600 block of Wells Street. The Allen County Coroner identified him as 59-year-old Laron Duane Rosse.
