Temple Police officers trying to serve a felony arrest warrant Saturday resulted in a multi-hour standoff and closure of a major street.
Around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Temple officers went to a residence in the 200 block of South 25th Street to serve a warrant for an alleged parole violation to a man on parole for a felony assault, according to a news release from the Temple Police Department. ×
