SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – An argument among young neighbors turned into a tragedy after police say a shootout broke out and took the life of a 15-year-old boy.
The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a shooting that occurred last week on May 27, 2025, in the 3100 block of Parkhurst Drive. In the evening of May 27, Shreveport police responded to reports of a teenage boy being hit by gunfire. Despite efforts to save his life, the boy did not survive and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
