FARGO — The Toasted Frog, a popular downtown Fargo restaurant and bar, will not close at the end of June.

Instead, the plan now is for the business to remain open under new ownership.

This past April, Toasted Frog owners Jonathan Holth and Shawn Clapp said the business at 305 Broadway would be closing at the end of June, as both were looking to have more time with family.

Now, the picture has changed, according to Holth, who said the Toasted Frog has been sold to Ryan Langerud, someone he and Clapp have known for many years, including having all worked together decades ago at the Sanders 1907 restaurant in Grand Forks, which later moved and is now called Skies 322.

Holth said the Toasted Frog deal is a good one all around.
