JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person was taken to the hospital after a reported shooting on Jacksonville's Northside on Monday.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting in the 6400 block of Restlawn Drive.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that one person was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but could not confirm how the victim suffered their injuries.

JSO is holding a press conference at 7:25 p.m.
