CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A third arrest has been made in connection with a Charlotte woman’s dog being stolen back in April, according to the affidavit.
The dog, a 6-year-old French bulldog named Julio, was inside a car that was stolen from the Alta Croft apartments on April 6. Within days of the theft, Julio’s owner, Jayla Gittens, said her brother got a video of the alleged thief driving around with the dog.
The affidavit on Monday, June 2, shows that Charlotte police charged 20-year-old Tahari Taylor for their involvement in allegedly stealing Gittens French bulldog .
According to the affidavit, investigators were looking to an unrelated incident when they reviewed Taylor’s phone and found evidence in Gittens’ case.
