MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting Monday evening in the Medical District.

MPD reports that officers received a shooting call at 5:19 p.m. from the area of South Camilla Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

One man was found at the scene with critical gunshot injuries. He was rushed to Regional One Hospital but did not survive.

No suspect information has been released at this time.

Action News 5 has crews headed to the scene.
