AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - West Plains offensive tackle, Keegan Collins, announced Monday that he would be verbally committing to the Kansas State University football program.

Collins is the first West Plains football athlete to commit to a Division One university.

He announced his decision via X on Monday afternoon:

The 6′5 275 pound junior was an integral part of this past year’s Wolfpack team that reached the state semifinals. The team recorded 2,916 total rushing yards as well as 3,616 passing yards. West Plains racked in 86 total touchdowns as well.

During the 2024-25 football season, he was graded at 97 percent. He was also named to the 2nd team TSWA All-State team as well as the THSCA Super Elite team as an offensive tackle.
