NEWARK - Film and media, musical, interdisciplinary and theater artists will have the opportunity to expand their programming and provide creative outlets to at-risk youth.
Newark is providing $750,000 in funding to support a fourth round of grants through the Creative Catalyst Fund, which provides artists and cultural groups with flexible grant support for their arts and cultural activities in the city’s 2025 fiscal year.
“The ripple effects from Newark’s Creative Catalyst Fund are felt widely by me and all of the artists in Newark,” said Christen Clifford, an interdisciplinary artist in the East Ward. “The emotional and material support raises us all.”
