Most job descriptions are wish lists, not actual requirements. Men will actually apply when they meet 60% of the qualifications, whereas women wait until they check off 100%.

Your next job probably won’t be the one you’re perfectly qualified for on paper.

Your experience, your energy, your perspective is what makes you stand out. There are ways you can position yourself even if you’re not hitting every bullet point.
