SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The #2 Wall Hawks baseball team defeated #4 Boyd Saturday to move to the State Championship game. This State semifinal matchup was a rematch of the 2023 State Title game in which the Hawks lost to the Yellowjackets.

Wall would drop game two of the State Semifinals Friday 9-3 but would bounce back and immediately jump out ahead in game three Saturday. The Hawks would plate five runs in the opening frame taking this one early on. The Hawks advance to their 4th state title appearance in school history. Their first appearance since 2023. With the Hawks last State Championship win coming from the 2019 season.
