PARKER – Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II is thinking plenty about the future.
The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year said there are things he can “get better” at on the field. He wants his Patrick Surtain II Foundation to “keep on getting better and better.” And he is thinking about perhaps playing flag football when it debuts at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
“It’s definitely a high interest because the Olympics is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,’’ Surtain, 25, said Monday night when asked about taking part after NFL players were approved last month to compete. “So I don’t know. We’ll see how my body feels at 28.”
Surtain was speaking at his foundation fundraising event, A Night of Cars and Couture, presented by The Ritz Carlton Denver at the Vehicle Vault in Parker. Atte
