MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The race for who will be Minot's next mayor just finished its latest step on the path to election day: the drawing for ballot order.

The order the candidates for mayor will appear on the ballot was determined in a live drawing at City Hall on Monday afternoon. The ballot order of the candidates will be as follows: • Josiah Roise • Mark Jantzer • Paul Pitner • Rob Fuller

Each candidate submitted at least 300 signatures from their nominating petition in order to be on the ballot in August. The signatures were then verified by Minot City Clerk Mikayla McWilliams and Minot City Finance Director David Lakefield.

Candidates were asked to submit 300 signatures, which is the maximum required by the North Dakota Century Code. NDCC 40-08-16 requires signatures from qua
