ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Just weeks after the original Taco Mac closed in Virginia-Highland, its Midtown restaurant abruptly closed Monday.

A sign in the window said that the restaurant is permanently closing the location on the ground level of the Metropolis building off Peachtree Street in the heart of Midtown.

They said that staff members will be offered opportunities at nearby locations.

“Serving this community has been an incredible honor,” the sign said. “We’ve cherished every moment — from cheering on our local sports teams together to celebrating special milestones. These memories will always be a meaningful part of our journey."
