DETROIT – Members of the ABC Greater Michigan Chapter teamed up with Make-A-Wish Michigan to build a custom, wheelchair-accessible treehouse for Brooklynn, a child living with a critical illness.

Members are providing $18,000 worth of building materials to build the house on stilts nestled in the trees. With help from local contractors and suppliers, the treehouse will be built at her home on June 6-7 and includes a 60-foot ramp so she can safely enjoy her own outdoor space—just in time for summer.

Angela Madarang President Associated Builders & Contractors, Greater Michigan Chapter, joins MITech TV to provide the back story on the group’s efforts on behalf of Make-A-Wish.
