AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - A 31-year-old man is now in custody for a deadly shooting this past weekend.

Akron Police said Martinez Williams is charged with murder and locked up in the Summit County Jail.

According to police, Williams shot Ontario Bradley, 24, on May 31.

The shooting happened at 3:42 a.m. in the 600 block of Darrow Rd.

When officers arrived, they found Bradley suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers rendered emergency first aid before Bradley was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released a motive.
