CLINTON, S.C. (WBTV) - A teenager was hurt after he was shot at a graduation party in South Carolina this past weekend.

The shooting happened late Saturday night along East Carolina Avenue in Clinton.

said officers were already at the party when they heard multiple gunshots and saw people running.

Officers found the teenager -- a 17-year-old boy -- on nearby Owens Street, which is just around the corner. Police also found a vehicle that had been hit multiple times by bullets.

The teenager was taken to a local hospital before he was moved to another hospital in Greenville. He was said to have been in stable condition as of Monday afternoon.

Police said more than 200 people were at the graduation party. As of this writing, they had not said if anyone was arrested in connection with the
