KILLDEER, ND (KXNET) — A 71-year-old man from Gardner has died in a motorcycle crash near Killdeer after he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 22.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), on Saturday, May 31 at about 2:15 p.m. CT, a man was riding his Harley Davidson when he lost control while rounding a curve, causing the motorcycle to overturn.

The driver died of his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP. The highway patrol says he was wearing his helmet.
