INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - Indianapolis has been chosen to host the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials for the second time in a row.
The trials will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium, which hosted the 2024 Olympic Swim Trials, in June 2028.
Held every four years, the Olympic Trials rank as the most prestigious swimming event in the U.S. The 2028 Trials will serve as the sole selection meet for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Swimming Team, which will represent Team USA on home soil at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
According to our sister station WTHR , the 2024 Olympic Swim Trials had a combined attendance of more than 285,000 people, which is a 60% increase from the previous Olympic Swim Trials.
