PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Three people were shot early Tuesday morning near the 6300 block of Torresdale Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, prompting an investigation by the 15th District and local detectives.
Police said officers responded to the area around 1:40 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Two victims arrived at the 15th Police District shortly after the incident and were transported by officers to Temple University Hospital. Their vehicle was struck multiple times by gunfire along the driver’s side, authorities confirmed.
A third victim, also connected to the shooting, later arrived at Jefferson-Frankford Hospital. The extent of the victims’ injuries has not yet been disclosed.
