Financial Post reporter Barbara Shecter has won the top overall prize at the 2025 PMAC Awards for Excellence in Investment Journalism for a series of stories investigating the politicization of pension investment in Canada.

The annual awards handed out by the Portfolio Management Association of Canada recognize Canadian financial journalists for their outstanding work in demystifying complex economic issues and enhancing investor understanding. Shecter’s entry also placed first in the long article category.
