FARGO — More than 50 entries in writing, art and photography were submitted for the Fargo Public Library's kids-only contest, and all 55 will be included in "Northern Narratives Jr."

Kids in kindergarten through sixth grade were invited to submit work in categories like short stories, poetry, comics, nonfiction essays, drawings and photographs, according to a press release.

Winners include:

River Dodds, fifth grade, short story: “The Witch in the Woods”

Wren Stewart-Gall, fifth grade, poetry: “Memory”

Annie Grace Meagher, third grade, poetry: “Spring is Coming”

Ellianna Oakes and Ashlee Hammer, fifth grade, comic: “Donut City”
