CAMP SPRINGS, Md. — Prince George’s County police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured in Camp Springs Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, officers were called to the 5600 block of Regency Park Court just after 12:30 p.m. for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found two men inside an apartment, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the men was pronounced dead. The second victim was rushed to an area hospital and remains in critical condition, police say.

Detectives are still working to piece together what led up to the shooting. The identities of the victims have not been released, and police have not said whether they are searching for any suspects.
