Following a two-month, multi-agency investigation, the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office arrested Hardy Police Chief Scott Rose on Monday on charges related to child sexual abuse, according to a press release from the Arkansas State Police .

Rose, 47, has been charged with one count each of 2nd degree sexual assault (a Class B felony), sexual indecency with a child (a Class D felony), 1st degree endangering the welfare of a child (a Class D felony), and knowingly furnishing alcohol to a minor (a Class A misdemeanor). If convicted, he faces up to 32 years in prison and fines of up to $37,500.
