New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau has spent five seasons with the club, most recently enjoying his most successful season with an Eastern Conference Finals appearance.

The Knicks posted a 51-31 record, finishing No. 3 in the Eastern Conference, before making a deep playoff run. The Thibodeau-led squad had its season end in Game 6 against the Indiana Pacers.

Despite being just two games away from the NBA Finals, the former Knicks head coach has been relieved of his duties.

Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns led the New York squad, giving Thibodeau the possibility to make the NBA Finals, though he was unable to figure out how to maximize the star duo.
