LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (WFLA) — Guests will soon get to step into the "wheelderness" of Piston Peak National Park in Disney's newest "Cars" attraction.

Walt Disney World announced Tuesday the fictious national park, filled with towering trees, snowcapped mountains, and more, will be the backdrop for the latest expansion of Magic Kingdom.

The space will replace part of Frontierland, with The Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat set to close July 7 as construction begins.

The design for Piston Peak National Park draws inspiration from the "Rocky Mountains and the history and iconic sights of the American Frontier and its national parks," according to the company.
