Griffin Armament’s history with metal printed suppressors goes back to 2008 with prototype applications. We felt the technology was neither developed nor cost-effective enough to be viable and publicly accepted for a long portion of that time. The hope of more manufacturing applications in other industries being supported and costs of equipment reducing, as well as capabilities and technology increasing, were considerable factors in waiting for the technology to mature.
