High pressure has shifted to the east of us and now southeasterly winds begin to transport moisture back into the area. We’re expecting scattered showers and t-storms to develop and move through our area Wednesday afternoon. These could be tropical like showers/t-storms capable of brief heavy downpours and frequent lightning strikes. Temps will manage the mid to upper 80s for highs. Moisture will continue to flow into the region and daily rounds or afternoon showers and t-storms can’t be ruled out through the remainder of the work week. Temps will hover in the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs late week. A frontal boundary will approach the deep south over the weekend.
