The Pittsburgh Steelers have “renewed conversations” about a trade for Jonnu Smith , ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported . Smith is looking for a new contract with the Miami Dolphins, but a trade to Pittsburgh is “still alive.”

News of Pittsburgh’s interest in Smith came about last month as he looked for a new contract in Miami. At the time, Schefter reported the two sides were in talks, and Smith would prefer to stay with the Dolphins. He is due $4.8 million following a breakout season in 2024, but the franchise is looking for trade partners.
