BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Former LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell reportedly signed a four-year deal with the New England Patriots.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Patriots and Campbell agreed to a four-year, $43.66 million rookie contract with a $28.39 million signing bonus.
The Patriots drafted Campbell in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
While at LSU, the Monroe native won accolades such as the 2022 LSU Offensive Lineman of the Year, was named to the 2023 First-Team All-SEC, and earned the 2024 SEC Jacobs Blocking trophy. He managed to have a 24-game streak without allowing a sack in 2024.
The Patriots' season opener is against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Sept. 7.
