TGH employee charged with child porn, recorded himself in patient care areas, deputies say

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa General Hospital employee has been arrested on charges of child pornography possession, according to deputies.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said David Scott Farber, 42, was charged with 79 counts of possession of child pornography after detectives investigated "suspicious activity" on social media.

During a search of Farber's home, detectives found dozens of images and videos of children being sexually abused — with the victims being 5 years old and younger, a release stated.

The sheriff's office said Farber also took "inappropriate photos and videos of himself in operating rooms and patient care areas." He would share these files with others on social media.
